Thanksliving – Living with a Grateful Heart this Holiday Season!

Living with a grateful heart this holiday season! How do you practice living with a thankful heart? This Holiday season, some of the team members at Eyedeal Graphics would like to share with you why the “Thanksliving” concept is meaningful to them.

“Thanksliving. When this term was introduced, it quickly resonated with me. Not only for its application to the holiday Thanksgiving, but for the entire holiday season. Frankly, for our entire lives. Living with a grateful heart all the time is what I am striving to do.

As I reflect on my past, and look to our future, I am overjoyed with the many blessings in my life. In every area of life, I am thankful to see love, friendship, compassion, growth and understanding.

As I look to our team at Eyedeal, and within our family of companies, I am thankful for the amazing culture that has been developed. It is one of service to others above everything else. Doing the right thing for our clients, our team and ourselves. Striving for a win for all – all the time. Humble and dedicated, hardworking and friendly. A boss-less team of skilled professionals, where team members are empowered to bring value. It’s a business model that doesn’t work for everyone, but wow does it work for the right people. May I continue to live in thanks.

Living with a grateful heart goes well beyond any perceived boundary of “work.” I am thankful for my wonderful wife, Jennifer. We make an awesome team. We also have been blessed with three wonderful healthy and happy growing boys. I can’t wait to live every day of our lives together. And we will do everything possible daily to celebrate “Thanksliving.”

“Gratitude can transform common days into thankgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”

– William Arthur Ward

I have so much to be thankful for from my son, my family, my dog, my friends, my colleagues, my work, my clients, and my advocacy to my struggles, my challenges and even my pain.

I am the sum of all these things and I am so grateful for the life I get to lead, the love I have in my heart, the learning I get to do, the experiences I get to have and the people that I get to share all of this with.

As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Life is a journey not a destination.”

Thank you for the role you play in this incredible journey I am on!”

“For myself, the term “Thanksliving” is as much a choice of lifestyle as it is a lifestyle in itself. The year 2019 has been a strenuous one for my family, almost from the beginning, on several fronts. Yet through it all, we give thanks to our Lord for His faithfulness and provisions that have sustained us.

Personally, I am very thankful for my family. I am blessed to have a lovely daughter who is growing in her passion for life just as she is growing into a young lady, right before my eyes. I have a loving wife who is always in my corner. She fills my life with support and encouragement even as she stretches herself vocationally and through further education. Though we have lost several members of our extended family this year, we are thankful for friends and family that have walked beside us offering consolation and reassurance.

From a professional perspective, I am grateful for the opportunity of working with our team of administrators, artists, and developers. Our’s is a group of individuals who care deeply about the businesses, organizations, and people that we have the pleasure to serve. More than this, we are friends that care about each other personally and professionally, frequently going beyond the mark to show it.

Ultimately, Eyedeal Graphics would not have an opportunity to serve anyone without the partnerships of those who entrust us with the branding, promotional, and development needs of their businesses and organizations. To that end, I am enthusiastically thankful to each of our clients for their patronage and continued loyalty. I wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving.”

“When I think of Thanksliving, living with a grateful heart, many thoughts come to mind. I find it is easy to be automatically thankful for the blessings we have each day, but really living a life of thankfulness requires thoughtfulness and intention.

This year has been a year of change, including the addition of our first child and in personal growth as a Child of God, wife and mother. I’ve learned a lot about the importance of finding something to be thankful about in all situations. I don’t do it perfectly but it’s amazing how quickly my attitude improves when I focus on being thankful. Thanksliving is something I would encourage everyone to strive for!

2019 is going to also mark the close of my chapter working at Eyedeal. I would be amiss not to mention my thankfulness to have been a part of the team and its journey, since 2011! As I reflect back on my (almost) 8 years, I am immensely thankful for the interactions and friendships with our team, those in the community, and our customers. There have been many lessons learned and I am thankful that the memories will last a lifetime.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and may you live thankfully each day of the year!”

“To live in constant thankfulness is a wonderful life-giving attitude I aim to have every day. Today I have an overabundance of opportunities, comfort and spiritual blessings to be thankful for in my career as well as my personal life. I find most gratefulness for the many things I know I don’t deserve or earn on my own but are still sent for my personal growth and benefit.

I am thankful for a sense of motivation and purpose, given by the generous support and encouragement of others. I appreciate my family, friends and all those who make the experiences and memories with me!

As this is the holiday known for showing gratitude, I would like to send a big thank you to all who we have the pleasure of working with here at Eyedeal. There is much excitement to be found in the ever-growing and evolving design industry. Thanks for giving us the privilege of growing, serving, and finding new opportunities to embark on in this coming year.”
